"Keep the Events Alive" Committee invites you to
4th Annual July 4thChili Cook Off and
Pot Luck Dinner


Saturday, July 4, 2009, 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM
(this leave plenty of time to get to the fireworks)

Bring your best chili to the Clubhouse by 4:00 PM (a cup for the judges and a pot to share as there will be a Peoples Choice Award) Judging starts at 4:30 PM.

Not a chili cook? No problem, just bring a appetizer, dinner or desert item to share with your fellow owners (suggested amount to feed 10 - 12 adults).

Beverages and awards for adults and kids are made possible by the donations to the "Keep the Events Alive" Committee.

Other Activities Throughout the Day 

Junior Olympics
11:00 AM - Children's Junior Olympics (boys and girls) - Sign up at the Clubhouse at 11:00 AM, events held throughout the day.

Adult Horseshoe Tournament
1:00 PM - Meet at the Clubhouse Horseshoe pit (by the tennis court). Teams of two compete for the coveted Horseshoe Trophies.

Adult Bocce Tournament
2:15 PM - Meet at the Clubhouse Bocce Court (by the tennis court).Teams of two compete for the infamous Bocce Trophies.

Awards
5:30 PM - Awards for all activities (at the Clubhouse).

Rockhopper Outdoor Education’s live animal educators will set us up for an all out animal scavenger hunt at the Boyd Family Farm! 60th Annual July 4th Wardsboro Parade and Street Fair - Wardsboro, Vermont

9 am – 3 pm (Rain or shine) 60th Annual July 4th Wardsboro Parade and Street Fair Vermont’s oldest continuously run July 4th parade, and a 2009 Yankee Magazine Top 20 New England summer event designee. Featuring marching bands, floats, antique cars, firetrucks, and much more, followed by an old-fashioned street fair with games, concessions, chicken barbeque, and bingo.

Performance of Stuart Little at Adams Farm - Wilmington, Vermont

Weston Playhouse Young Theater Group will be performing "Stuart Little". This E.B. White classic tale about a little mouse born into a normal New York family further enhances the charming story of a determined "underdog" trying to survive in a "real people's world," comes to life at Adams Farm. 32nd Annual 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks - Wilmington, Vermont

32nd Annual Independence Day Party and Fireworks. At Baker Field, Wilmington, VT (behind Twin Valley High School). The Independence Day celebration starts at 6:00 p.m. with a party, live entertainment and vendors on the field. 59th Marlboro Music School & Festival at Marlboro College - Marlboro, Vermont

2nd Annual Blueberry Festival - Throughout the Deerfield Valley
July 31 - August 9, 2009

Berries, vintage cars, music, food and tarp displays; if it’s blue, it’s probably happening in the Mount Snow area towns of Wilmington, Whitingham and Dover in early August. The 2009 Deerfield Valley Blueberry Festival, named a Vermont Top 10 Summer Event for 2009, is the culmination of a community effort in which dozens of businesses, organizations and individuals have created blueberry or blue themed events happening ten consecutive days at the end of July into August. Trek Women Triathlon Series at Mount Snow - West Dover, Vermont
August 9, 2009 beginning at 7:00 AM

Calling All Women Age 14+ Looking for a Life-Changing Experience. The new Trek Women Triathlon Series will take place in 10 cities in 2009 including Mount Snow, Vermont.  The Series is aimed at breaking down barriers for women athletes and is the ONLY Women’s Triathlon Series CREATED BY WOMEN, RUN BY WOMEN, EXCLUSIVELY FOR WOMEN. The event starts with a .5 mile swim from Snow Lake’s sandy beach. Athletes will bike through the Vermont countryside on 12 miles of gently rolling backcountry roads – an out and back course on Handle Road. The 3.1 mile Run segment is a combination of roads and mountain trails within the confines of the Mount Snow Resort. Spectators will enjoy unobstructed views of the swim course and the tremendous Green Mountain vistas of the Mount Snow Resort.
