Snowshoe Scramble 2009
On Sunday, December 27 the Landscape Committee sponsored a Snowshoe Scramble at the Birchwood Recreation area. Dion Snowshoes, a local company, supplied the snowshoes and over 30 people took part in this event. Participants, many first time snowshoers, toured the CHOA wilderness trails and learned about the great sport of snowshoeing. Special thanks to Jane and Michael Cary and the Landscape Committee for their efforts in holding this event.
